You’ve been in more lovely weddings than you care to count and have the bridesmaid dresses in your closet to prove it. Some you’ve worn again while others have remained in their drycleaning bag, lurking in the closet waiting to see the light of day.
I often hold on to clothing purely for sentimental value. Each dress represents a special day spent with a friend on her wedding day. In those moments where you convince yourself you just might wear one of these dresses again, think how much a girl would love to wear one of your dresses for her prom?
The Princess Project is an organization that collects dresses in great condition to give to girls who are unable to afford them to wear to prom.
Go one step further and host a dress drive for the Princess Project! Imagine the women who would come out of the woodwork to donate their dresses?
Check back tomorrow to learn how choosing a venue can help you give back!
