Right before Sassi’s trunk show at Gabriella New York, we had casting for models to help us show gowns to all the boutiques the next day at Bridal Market. Gabriella’s enchanting salon was the perfect backdrop to photograph each gown as well as the models who came along to audition. Doesn’t Sarah Arnett’s Hermione look [...] Our wonderful models, Megan and Brenna, of course! We could not have shown our lovely Sassi Holford and Sarah Arnett gowns without them. Over the course of market, they tried every gown in both collections between them. By the end of market, both had fallen in love.
With their favorite gowns, Catriona [...] When I saw Sassi’s Aleisha gown, I thought of the old screen sirens of the ’30s and ’40s. Such an elegant, sophisticated shape, and the beading detail at the neck is absolutely gorgeous.
Aleisha would be gorgeous skimming across the dance floor a la Ginger Rogers, accessorized with dazzling bracelets and divine shoes.
How did Sassi stand all day at New York Bridal Market? In fabulous red shoes, of course!! Sassi wore a gorgeous pair of shoes every day, but these are my favorite. I can’t imagine how she stood in them all day. Maybe she designs in them as well and is used to standing in such [...] Each gown I saw from Sassi this weekend had me weak in the knees. Her ladylike Saskia gown is so proper and elegant, and then seeing the back of it is like a revelation. How I adore the covered buttons trailing to the skirt and the lovely full bow! It reminds me of the classic [...] Shown this weekend at New York Bridal Market was Sassi’s whimsical Catriona gown. I absolutely love it (of course, I love all of them, but at this moment Catriona is my favorite).
