Bliss Bridal Salon is a full service bridal shop catering to Ft. Worth’s discerning brides-to-be. With personal, attentive service and a large collection of gowns ranging from cutting edge to traditional, Bliss is a must stop destination! Recently, Bliss participated in the Dallas Bridal Show with a runway show including real brides wearing Sassi Holford gowns, and it has a schedule full of trunk shows, including one with Sassi Holford March 1-14. With so much going on, owner JT still found time for a quick chat about Bliss:
BB: How did you decide to open Bliss?
JT: After realizing that Fort Worth needed a modern, innovative bridal salon, we decided to take the plunge and show them what a bridal salon should really be about. We have always loved working with people and getting to know their stories that this seemed to incorporate everything we loved to do. Our reward is the pictures and thank you notes that we receive from our brides.
BB: What is one thing you wish you could shout from the rooftops about Bliss Bridal Salon?
JT: Customer Service: It’s all about you!
BB: With so many gorgeous gowns and talented designers out there, how did you choose?
JT: We look for designers that have heart. From the detail and construction in their gowns to their personal attachment to their line and stockists, you can quickly see who is truly love driven and that in itself will inspire you and your brides.
BB: What is one of your favorite moments when working with a bride?
JT: When you realize that you fully understand their vision and can go pick the gown and say, this is it (and they agree)!
BB: What do you think is one of the most important things for a bride-to-be to consider when she begins searching for her gown?
JT: A bride needs to remain true to herself. Her gown should resonate her personality and flair. Too many opinions while selecting a gown can muddle her perception and create an experience that is frustrating when it should be fun and exhilarating!
BB: What is something no bride should go without?
JT: A fabulous gown! Besides that, a few special moments with her new husband on the day of the wedding, away from the crowd. A time to celebrate together before the reception and experience each others joy in a time of reflection and excitement.
BB: Finally, where do you stand: Wedding Crashers or Wedding Singer?
JT: Wedding Singer!
