Aisle Style {Vivienne Westwood & Dita Von Teese}

Vivienne Westwood holds a special place in Sassi’s heart as one of her favorite designers, so I thought it best to do my first 2010 Aisle Style with one of her gowns!

It’s no wonder Dita Von Teese chose Vivienne Westwood to design the gown for her marriage to Marilyn Manson! A designer known for sophisticated and progressive designs and informed by punk, Victoriana, and a little of the courtesan, a dress by Vivienne Westwood is sure to make a statement.

Of course, not every bride wishes for such a spectacular, over-the-top gown in a rich purple taffeta, but why not introduce some elements for a hint of her vintage, edgy look?

A glamorous, lushly skirted, cap sleeved and corseted gown like Sassi’s Lauren emulates Vivienne Westwood’s temptress of yesteryear, while daring vintage-inspired veiling and shoes breathe a little non-conformist into the look.

For those wishing for a more bold look, a daring hat would do just the trick.
