We are so pleased Sassi Holford and Filippa Scott will be carried in San Diego’s newest and most innovative bridal boutique, White Flower Bridal Boutique.
Owner Courtney Cole chose Sassi Holford for her new boutique “because of her beautiful collections. She has been designing for much longer than many designers carried here in the States and her collection has the reputation of being elegant and most importantly has brilliant fit. That is very important when recruiting a designer, that they have the reputation of having gowns that actually fit a woman’s body! Also, a bride can tell when a gown is well made even if it is just a store sample.”
We adore Sassi’s lovely and elegant gowns, too, and we know San Diego brides will love them. I can just picture Sassi’s Catriona in a gorgeous San Diego wedding, the lovely swiss dotted skirt floating in the breeze.
Opening soon in San Diego’s Historic Balboa Park, White Flower Bridal Boutique is set to make an impression on Southern California brides-to-be with a thoroughly modern way of doing business! Courtney tells us what motivated her to open her new bridal salon:
“I decided that I wanted to open a boutique in 2003 but wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I
wanted to accomplish and found the right place before I jumped in. I wanted to focus more on simple elegant styles that have beautiful fabrics and lace. I wanted to carry collections that are timeless. Also, it was important for us to be in-tune with technology. Many salons don’t use the internet and communication to its fullest and we plan on using technology in every way possible that makes sense for our business. That’s why we will be offering global video conferencing with friends and family. So many times when women are shopping for their gowns, their friends and family are far away and cannot take part in the appointment. Our technology will allow the bride and her friends/family to see and hear each other during the appointment, thus allowing them to have the gown shopping experience they wouldn’t normally have. We hope this is well received by our brides and their friends/families.”
Brides-to-be visiting White Flower Bridal Boutique will choose their gown from a group of designers exclusive to White Flower, including Sassi Holford, Adele Wechsler, Lea-Ann Belter, and Birnbaum & Bullock. Brides will always have a private appointment (all those gorgeous gowns to yourself!), with the global video conferencing Courtney mentioned available for friends and family to be a part of the experience. I think that is so exciting and innovative! Imagine being able to ring your mum to show her the gown you have fallen for?
