Just looking at this image gives us the chills…the good kind! Enjoy your weekend! When I think Spring, butterflies flit to mind…alighting on flowers, floating on a lovely spring breeze. Timeless Paper has come up with clever, delicate, airy butterflies to perch delicately as escort cards, or to flutter upon a table number. What a gorgeous, impactful way to bring spring indoors!
- Betty x We’ve all seen it. The timeless, breathless, image of a gorgeous wedding gown, poised to be slipped on by the bride-to-be moments before she walks down the aisle. Something distracts from that lovely frock! What is it? An industrial, plastic hanger. Ladies, we have found the solution…a customized hanger! They make a great, affordable gift and, of course, solve any potential picture woes. You can DIY it, with a classic, wooden hanger bearing a lovely message (via the inspirational Savoir Weddings):
Or, order a customized hanger with your name, a message, or anything you like from Etsy’s Lila Frances!
- Betty x Our US Manager, Wendy, had so much fun showing Filippa Scott’s and Sassi Holford’s things at the Wood Ranch Country Club Bridal Show last week! It was raining, but that didn’t stop all the festivities…well, except maybe the romantic carriage rides to the ceremony site on Wood Ranch’s scenic grounds. Wood Ranch has a lovely warm space, despite the gloom outside! The bride’s room at Wood Ranch is great – spacious and soothing. Of course, once we added Sassi’s Saskia gown and Filippa’s Anna shoes alongside of one of Friar Tux’s suits, it looked even more charming. In the main room, Wendy set up Sassi’s and Filippa’s gorgeous things. Here is Sassi’s Estelle. Our bits and pieces all together. Then Wendy went and had a look ’round at the fab tablescape sample Wood Ranch displayed. And she visited some of the other vendors.
Sassi’s gowns and Filippa’s shoes were a big hit, and we are so glad we got to be a part of a bridal open house at Wood Ranch Country Club! - Betty x We were so thrilled when photographer Shane Carpenter sent over images of Morgan in her Sassi Holford gown! When Morgan saw Sassi’s Stella, she knew she had to have it. “I called the New York store and they sent me to a small boutique somewhere in Pennsylvania to pick up the dress. I was more than willing to drive five hours to get my dress!” Her now husband, Preston, wore a tux he already owned by Joseph Abboud. Don’t they make a striking couple? Preston and Morgan were married at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Easton, MD, with a lovely reception following at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina. The wedding was just gorgeous! To see Morgan’s divine shoes, lovely bridesmaids in blue, and fun reception, pop over to photographer Shane Carpenter’s blog to have a peek!
Many thanks to Shane Carpenter for sending over the images, and best wishes to Preston and Morgan! - Betty x Sassi Holford’s collection visited Colorado’s Little White Dress for a Trunk Show at the end of February, and our poor Wendy (who lives in southern California) was subjected to this from the moment she arrived and through dinner with Cate, the owner of Little White Dress: Cate, her staff, and her lovely, warm boutique (as well as a hot dinner at a local cafe) made up for the winter weather, though! Here’s Cate hard at work in her shop preparing for the day: Sassi’s dresses look glorious at Little White Dress. We love the hangers! Here’s Catriona (swoon) and Suzannah: Sassi’s darling Lucy and sophisticated Francesca: Don’t forget the elegant, classic Rhianna: And, of course, chic Vanessa: Sassi’s Trunk Show at Little White Dress was a great success and lots of fun! Thanks to all the wonderful brides-to-be who came by and to Cate and her staff for being such lovely hosts! - Betty x |
